Royce is a highly experienced counselor specializing in anxiety and OCD, combining thousands of clinical hours with personal insight gained from his own journey with anxiety. His primary therapeutic approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a modality that helps clients build meaningful, values-centered lives while developing the psychological flexibility to face difficult thoughts and emotions. Royce believes that challenges are a natural part of life’s journey and teaches practical, compassionate skills that empower clients to move toward what matters most rather than avoiding discomfort.
Royce earned his graduate degree in Clinical Social Work from Brigham Young University, where he gained strong clinical training and hands-on experience in addiction treatment, domestic violence advocacy, and adolescent mental health. His work has included supporting individuals and families through anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship conflict. With over 25 years of marriage, four children, and a deep personal understanding of emotional struggles, Royce approaches counseling with humility, empathy, and a genuine commitment to helping people live fuller, more purposeful lives.
